Skialpinism route to volcano Avachinskaja (2741 m)

Volcano Avachinskaja (2741 m) was planned for Wednesday, April 29. Weather was excellent, sun was shining, none clouds on the sky. On the other side, wind was extremely strong and influenced whole trip including quality of snow. There were only a group of four people at the summit, whereas others finished at altitudes 2450–2600 meters above sea completely frozen. Skiing was on ice. Trip was supported by KAMA, Voda hory, Tilak, Quill-outdoor, www.lacnyskialp.sk and Baston.
