I am currently working in Slovenia this second week of November. There were nice weather today on Wednesday, November 11, so I decided to go several kilometres outside of Ljubljana to ski resort Krvavec, which is situated in altitudes from 1450 to 1970 meters. Terrible summer without snow and skis are over, last skiing was on May 8 during trip Skialpinism at Kamchatka.
From left Zvoh, in the middleKrvavec and on right Kržišče
Oficial web of ski resort Krvavec ski resort do not mention anything about opening ski lifts. There is only written, that Krvavec is the best Slovenian ski resort every year since 2006. Other description of ski resrot is at Krvavec at Slovenia.info
On the left ridge Dom na Krvavcu and above transceiver
Map RTC Krvavec shows 11 different ski lifts and 23 ski slopes. I was quite surprised that there are 5 black slopes, because I skied on slopes No. 13 and No. 20, and both of them were easy.
Fantastic ridge behind border of ski resort
The highest point is the summit Zvoh (1971 m), second highest peak Krvavec (1853 m) is in the middle of the ski resort, and the lowest peak is Kržišče (1655 m).

There are a lot of interesting forests in ski resort Krvavec, that can be used for skiing. I suppose, that all areas can be full of powder snow after night snowing! Price of one day ticket is 24 EUR and skiing in this resort is highly reccommendable.
Ski slopes No. 17, 18, 8 and 20 from the summit of Krvavec
On the right the highest Zvoh
Some crazy people walk to Zvoh and they walk down too!
Meteorogical station in unusual position at the summit of Zvoh
There is big lake at the summit of Zvoh for preparation of technical snow.
Photo was taken by Slovenian skialpinist that I met on the summit
Lake is surrounded by wooden fence
Swimming is forbidden – I do not know why, because water seems to have
ideal temperature and it is used only for technical snow, not for
drinking
Sun was just a little above skyline and snow was nicely red
